At Bladebond Foundation, we believe in creating opportunities for skaters of all levels through our dynamic events and projects. From donation to fundraising, we aim to foster a supportive environment where skaters can thrive.
We help Children at Grace Centers of Hope begin their skating journey, free from financial burden.
At Bladebond Foundation, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy of skating. Many of the children at Grace Centers of Hope come from families facing homelessness, addiction, or financial hardship. With your support, we can provide them with the equipment, lessons, and encouragement they need to step onto the ice with confidence.
We provide free skating equipment to children and adults. Making it easier to take that first step onto ice and continue pursuing their passion.
Our dedicated volunteers provide free lessons to the children from Grace Centers of Hope.
Following skating lessons, we provide lunch for the children from Grace Centers of Hope to foster community and care.
At Christmas, each of our members prepares a special gift for a child from Grace Centers of Hope to share the holiday spirit.
We visited the Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, MI, and toured the facility with the director to gain a deeper understanding of the lives of the students we support.
Our members help to put on a fantastic show to support the loved ones and to honor the lives of those affected by the American Airlines Flight 5342 crash in D.C. on January 29, 2025. It was incredible to see what our skating community could put together. It was heartfelt, touching and special.
Members of Bladebond Foundation proudly perform in SK8 to Elimin8 Cancer shows, raising awareness and inspiring others to join the fight against cancer through the power of skating.
Nicholas Brooks, a 16-year-old figure skater from Glendale, Arizona, currently training in Colorado Springs, has demonstrated remarkable talent and dedication to his sport. In early 2024, he represented Team USA in the junior men’s category at the Trophy Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur in Nice, France, where he secured a bronze medal. To support his participation in this international event, Nicholas and his family launched a fundraising campaign to cover expenses such as travel, accommodation, and coaching fees. The campaign highlighted the financial challenges faced by athletes pursuing their dreams on the global stage.
Fundraising efforts like these are crucial in assisting talented skaters like Nicholas, ensuring they have the necessary resources to compete internationally and continue their athletic development.
During each school holiday, Bladebond Foundation members host various events at their local rink to promote our mission, attract new members, and expand our service to more communities.
We provide ongoing mentoring programs for skaters who need mental support or training experiences. We help skaters at different levels have the resources needed to succeed.
